The most challenging part was that the Niles chamber has not done a map for fundraising in nearly 10 years. This means members were not accustomed to paying for these ads, and we had to spend more time selling and educating members to the benefits. Its standard for us to establish a culture of buying advertising from the chamber in order to promote even more successful campaigns in the future. The fundraising numbers always go up the following years when we establish the habit.
